This simple phrase is the beginning of a plea, a request, and a conversation that demands answers to some of life’s most challenging questions.
As we listen to the plight of the poor, we are led to respond in a tangible way. We want to help, but we don’t want to enable. We don’t want to judge or condemn, but we also acknowledge that the best answers might be the toughest to say and even tougher for one to hear.
The purpose of this site is to enable the average Joe to help someone in need. Using a little technology, and a good resource list, we want to enable the helper to distribute quality information To those who need it most.
This site is a project of OurCalling.org and started as a list of local resources for the poor in Dallas.
