Every Saturday at 11:00 AM we have a church service followed by a meal. Clothes are passed out the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month.
As a ministry of Denton Bible Church, our goal is to create and establish meaningful relationships with those that are under-resourced within our community. We seek to build bridges to both a loving God and a community of support that is committed to meeting their physical and spiritual needs. At the end of the day, we recognize that we all suffer from the brokenness of our world — no matter our economic status, race, health, or age — and the message of Jesus Christ’ life, death, and resurrection is the hope that we have to offer. We believe that poverty is rooted in broken relationships and because of that our solutions must be rooted in the power of Jesus’ death and resurrection to put all things into right relationships again. Our message to our clients (and volunteers…and anyone who will listen) is “I’m broken, you’re broken, but Jesus can fix us both.”
OurCalling is a discipleship ministry for the homeless.
Founded in 1995, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the Share Center’s mission is to “Help People Help Themselves” to provide the opportunity for a brighter future by providing food, clothing, build self-esteem, offer classes for further education and job referrals. The center is located in Terrell, Texas and serves Kaufman County.
Sharing Life exists to demonstrate compassion by effectively and efficiently providing dignified, benevolent services to families in need in Mesquite and Southeastern Dallas County.
Our mission here at Soul for Christ Ministry Inc is to help the less fortunate among us while, at the same time, instructing the individuals how to become self sufficient. Our ministry is not fostering dependency but, to the contrary, we are strengthening the whole person through Counseling-Prayer-Rehabilitation.
Soul for Christ Ministry Inc believes that with God’s help any human life can be improved regardless of its current situations. Soul for Christ Ministry Inc is feeding the homeless and maintaining a food pantry to help the low income neighbors as well as single families in Dallas Texas. We are providing limited transitional housing to individuals who became homeless due to some situations beyond their control while, at the same time, assisting them in setting goals, in developing marketable skills, in networking for gainful employments and, ultimately, in obtaining permanent housing! Our goal is to assist these individuals to become self-reliant, and to discover God’s Divine Purposes for their lives.
“To strengthen and empower the social and economic fabric of the Ideal Neighborhood through partnerships with its residents, associations, local institutions and other public, private and nonprofit organizations to provide wholesome development of affordable housing, economic development and community services.”
Our mission takes a holistic approach to the revitalization of the Neighborhood community. A significant part of our commitment relates to the youth of the community.
