Pleasant Grove Food Pantry

The mission of the Pleasant Grove Food Pantry is to passionately pursue a hunger-free community in Pleasant Grove and the surrounding areas.

40% of families within one mile of the Pleasant Grove Food Pantry (PGFP), have a household income of $25,000 or less and of them, 1 in 4 children go hungry every day. 42% of our seniors are forced to choose between paying for food and paying for medical care.

With your help, we can change all of that. With your help, we can, and we will, end hunger in our community.

The PGFP is a non-profit organization which provides food and other basic necessities to qualified residents of Pleasant Grove and the surrounding areas. As a member agency of the North Texas Food Bank, PGFP has access to the many resources, experience and guidance that has consistently ranked them in the top 10 food banks in America. This partnership also provides PGFP with the purchasing power to turn every dollar donated into four nutritious meals.

In the first five months of operations, PGFP has distributed over 21,000 pounds of food to almost 500 families with 2,000 family members. While it’s a great start, there are thousands more that need our help. That’s where you come in.
