“To strengthen and empower the social and economic fabric of the Ideal Neighborhood through partnerships with its residents, associations, local institutions and other public, private and nonprofit organizations to provide wholesome development of affordable housing, economic development and community services.”

Our mission takes a holistic approach to the revitalization of the Neighborhood community.  A significant part of our commitment relates to the youth of the community.

    • Family Outreach Program
      The Family Outreach Program’s goal is to educate and provide health services to the people of the community through partnerships to address common minority community healthcare issues. Maintaining awareness and allowing a forum for communication are central to the program’s goals. The program provides the ME First Health Initiative, food and clothing to needy families, an Information Resource Center, and a Non-Denominational Encouragement Service.

    • Seniors Helping Seniors
      Seniors Helping Seniors is a health education resource with the goal to make its participants more knowledgeable about health issues and generate better health care. The program provides nutrition classes, hosts a community awareness meeting, and provides hot meals to homebound seniors. The program hopes to promote good health through healthy eating, information dissemination, and providing food to seniors confined to the home.
